Those Hungarian movie posters are so damned cool. I would love to see THAT movie, not the one it's supposedly advertising.

Yo, Imma let you finish, but Hagia Sophia is the best architecture of all time! OF ALL TIME!

My wife texts me and asks to talk. She normally can't make phone calls at work, so when this occurs, it's usually bad news.
Her company, a private R&D firm, has not gotten some of the funding from contracts they were awarded. Most of these are Government issued, so I'm pissed to the point of wanting a giant pitchfork and torch so I can march to DC and give those assholes some insider knowledge on how well their "fight" for American jobs has been working. Here's a clue: It's FUCKING NOT, YOU STUPID, GREEDY, ARROGANT, OEDIPUS-ES(?) OEDIPI(?) MOTHER-FUCKERS!
Stop fucking arguing about "principles." Your principles were purchased by the lobbyist who flash the most cash/hookers/blow at you.
Fuck You. Assholes.

Agreed. I would go see whatever movie that was, even without subtitles based, on the posted alone.

Similar story here. We're architects and the developer we have been working for pays us when he feels like it. Often we get paid for our last job when he wants us to start a new one. In an office with 4 people it doesn't work well for us.

Don't need to GIS; I've been there a couple times. I'm also within a few miles of Taliesin West in AZ. There's lots of FLW's work in Phoenix, and I have a friend who lives in one of his students' houses with many of the same characteristics. Still, Hagia Sophia was built in 537. Not, 1537 , mind you, but 537 .

That's pretty cool. I've wanted to go to both places but they are a little far for me. I've visited one of his houses in NH and one in Buffalo. Neither (especially the NH house) compares to Taliesin West or Fallingwater. I couldnt imagine seeing something as old as Hagia Sophia. I think the oldest building i've been in was the original part of the Louve which is 12th century. I also stayed in the old section of Barcelona but I forget the age of that. I wanna say 15th century. I think Gaudi is pretty amazing. everything screams 'I'm really f'in high' but also has an amazing sensibility to it.
